Understanding Tuition Costs: Direct vs. Indirect Costs

At Justice University, we want to make it easy to understand the true cost of your education. Direct costs are the expenses you pay directly to Justice, including tuition and housing (if you live on campus). Indirect costs are estimated expenses you may have while attending college, such as books, transportation, and personal expenses, but these are not paid directly to the university.

After scholarships, the average cost per semester is $3,750 for off-campus students and $6,250 for on-campus students, making Justice University an affordable and smart choice for higher education.

Financial Aid
FAFSA Code: 043112

Pell Grants:

Federal Pell Grants are awarded to undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need. Pell Grants do not need to be repaid and provide significant support for eligible students. Eligibility for Pell Grants is determined by the Student Aid Index (SAI), which is calculated through the FAFSA. The SAI reflects a family’s ability to contribute to educational costs based on household income, assets, and other factors.

Subsidized Loans:

Available to undergraduate students with financial need. The U.S. Department of Education covers the interest while you are in school, during the grace period, and during deferment.

Unsubsidized Loans:

Available to both undergraduate and graduate students, regardless of financial need.

Interest accrues from the time the loan is disbursed, but flexible repayment options are available.

VA Benefits:

Justice University proudly supports veterans and their families by accepting benefits from the GI Bill® and other VA programs.

Eligible students can use these benefits to cover tuition and fees. Please contact the Financial Aid Office to schedule a meeting to learn more.

Private Loans:

For students who need additional financial assistance, private loans from banks or financial institutions can help bridge any remaining gap in education costs. Students are encouraged to carefully review the terms and conditions of private loans before applying. Click here to learn more about Justice University’s Preferred Private Lender List.
