How to Get Started with VA Education Benefits

Step 1: Apply for VA Benefits New students should visit www.va.gov/education to apply for benefits. If you’re transferring benefits from another school, submit VA Form 22-1995. Step 2: Submit Your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) Once approved, the VA will send you a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) by mail or online (usually within 30 days). Email your COE to admissions@justiceuniversity.org. Step 3: University Certification Justice University will review your COE and submit your enrollment certification to the VA. This typically takes 5–10 business days. Step 4: Monitor Your Benefits and Stay Informed After certification is submitted, check your VA account regularly for updates. Be sure to monitor your email for communications from both the VA and Justice University regarding payments, class enrollment, and any action needed on your part.
