Admissions Criteria for International Students

Academic Qualifications: Applicants must have successfully completed the equivalent of a U.S. high school education. Official transcripts are required and will be evaluated to determine admission eligibility. English Language Proficiency: Since all courses at Justice University are taught in English, students whose first language is not English must demonstrate proficiency through an approved exam such as the Duolingo English Test. Proof of Financial Support: Students must submit documentation verifying they have adequate financial resources to cover tuition, housing, and living expenses for at least one academic year in the United States.

F-1 International Student Job Opportunities

At Justice University, F-1 international students have several employment opportunities that comply with U.S. immigration regulations. While studying in the U.S., international students may be eligible for the following job options: 1. On-Campus Employment: F-1 students are permitted to work on campus for up to 20 hours per week during the academic year, and full-time during official school breaks. However, on-campus positions are limited, and students should not depend on this income to cover the cost of their education. 2. Curricular Practical Training (CPT): CPT allows F-1 students to gain practical work experience in their field of study. This training is part of the student's curriculum and can be either part-time or full-time. Students must obtain approval from the Designated School Official (DSO) before beginning CPT. 3. Optional Practical Training (OPT): F-1 students are eligible to apply for OPT, which allows them to work for up to 12 months in a job related to their major. OPT can be used during or after completing their degree. Students must apply for and receive approval from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) before starting OPT. 4. Severe Economic Hardship Employment: In rare cases, students facing severe, unforeseen economic hardship may be eligible for off-campus employment with special approval from USCIS. Students must demonstrate that they have exhausted other employment options. Note: F-1 students are not allowed to work off-campus without specific authorization (such as through CPT, OPT, or Severe Economic Hardship). Engaging in unauthorized off-campus work can lead to serious consequences, including the termination of the student’s visa status. It is essential that students always follow the proper procedures and get approval for any employment. For more information on job opportunities and the application process, F-1 students should contact the International Student Services Office at Justice University.
